What we check before the first plank clicks in
In areas such as Nucli Històric, Barri del Pi and Sant Sebastià we are asked for laminate both in flats being let or sold and in lofts and upper floors of houses. Each time we match the AC class and underlay thickness to how the room is really used.
In houses and flats in areas such as La Galbanya, Les Oliveres and Les Cases del Tint the skirting is fixed to the wall, not the floor, so the laminate can expand. We use lacquered MDF or a board matching the planks, with mitred corners and sealed joints.
The site manager plans clearing the rooms in turn, and when we finish we vacuum and take away packaging and offcuts. We lay laminate in the surrounding areas too: Vilassar de Mar, Cabrils and Premià de Dalt.
