Fitting a dishwasher in Vilanova i la Geltrú: what we check first
In houses on residential estates in areas such as Centre Vila and La Geltrú, kitchens are spacious and sometimes have an island or peninsula. If the dishwasher goes in the island, we run water, waste and power under the floor or behind the plinth, with the right fall to the soil stack.
In kitchens in areas such as Barri de Mar and Ribes Roges we connect the waste to the sink trap through a spigot with a non-return valve and loop the hose up to the height the manufacturer specifies. That stops dirty water from the sink flowing back into the machine.
For over 20 years we have worked in kitchens in flats and houses: we check the connections and units on the visit and give you a detailed written quote. We also cover nearby areas such as Sant Pere de Ribes, Cubelles and Canyelles.

Frequently asked questions
01Dishwasher installation in Vilanova i la Geltrú: which areas do you cover?
We do this work in Vilanova i la Geltrú, in areas such as Centre Vila, La Geltrú, Barri de Mar, Ribes Roges, Sant Joan, L'Aiguacuit, La Collada and Sis Camins, and also nearby: Sant Pere de Ribes, Cubelles and Canyelles. Before starting we visit the property and prepare a detailed written quote.
02Can the dishwasher go far from the sink?
Yes, but the drain hose only reaches so far. If the space is further away, we extend the waste pipe inside the wall with the right fall.
0345 cm or 60 cm dishwasher?
A 60 cm machine holds more and a 45 cm one suits narrow kitchens. We measure the space and tell you which fits without losing a useful drawer unit.
04Do you fit the door panel on an integrated dishwasher?
Yes. We line the panel up with the neighbouring units and adjust the door springs so it opens and closes smoothly.
