Consumer units in Viladecans: what we usually find
In holiday flats in areas such as Barri Antic, Eixample Centre and Sales, a storm while the home is empty can leave it without power until the next visit. We suggest auto-reclosing RCDs and surge protection so the fridge and alarm keep working.
When the change is finished in areas such as Torre-roja, Campreciós and Can Palmer, we test every RCD with a tester, measure the earth and leave a printed circuit chart on the board door. The wall around the enclosure is made good and ready for painting.
After the visit you receive a written quote detailing each protective device, and a site manager handles the job through to the final tests. We also replace consumer units nearby: Gavà, Sant Boi de Llobregat and El Prat de Llobregat.

Frequently asked questions
01Consumer unit replacement in Viladecans: which areas do you cover?
We work in Viladecans in areas such as Barri Antic, Eixample Centre, Sales, Torre-roja, Campreciós, Can Palmer, Can Batllori and Can Sellarès, and also nearby: Gavà, Sant Boi de Llobregat and El Prat de Llobregat.
02Can the consumer unit be replaced without rewiring?
Yes, if the wiring is in good condition. We test its insulation first; if any circuit fails, we point it out in the quote so you can decide what to do with it.
03What does a surge protection device do?
It cuts the supply when a voltage spike arrives from the grid or a storm, protecting the fridge, boiler, computer and other connected equipment.
04Will I be without power during the work?
Only while the old unit is disconnected and the new one is connected. We agree the time of the cut with you and leave everything working before we go.
