A new floor without building work in Vic
Town-centre flats in areas such as Centre Històric and Les Adoberies, mostly from the 1960s to 80s, have period tiles or terrazzo that owners would rather not break up. Laminate goes on top with minimal extra height, and we only trim the doors that catch.
In flats in areas such as El Remei, Montseny and La Guixa we start by running a long straightedge over the whole floor: sunken joints and high spots are corrected with levelling compound, as laminate on an uneven base ends up creaking and opening at the joints.
