From floor-standing to wall-hung in Vic
In 1960s to 80s town-centre flats a floor-standing toilet usually has a vertical outlet into the floor. To switch to wall-hung, we run the waste to the wall with a new PVC section and connect it to the frame's bend (mostly in Centre Històric and Les Adoberies).
We fix the frame to the floor slab with anchors suited to the substrate and level it both ways before tightening. The pan hangs on threaded rods that bear on the steel frame, not on the board.
