Bath-to-shower conversion in Vic.
We take out the bath and fit a shower tray in Vic you can step into without lifting your leg, with an adapted waste and screen, keeping any tiling in good condition.
5/5 · Google reviewsWhen does swapping the bath for a shower make sense?
- Stepping over the edge is hard
- You hardly ever use the bath
- Worn or rusty enamel
- The curtain leaves a wet floor

We waterproof the base and take the membrane up the shower walls.

From bath recess to easy shower in Vic
In 1960s–80s flats in areas such as Centre Històric and Les Adoberies a 1.60 m bath with a built-in front and period tiles around it is common. Once it is out we use the full length for a roomy tray and close the wall with a panel or tiles that go with the existing ones.
On conversions in areas such as El Remei, Montseny and La Guixa we take the tray outlet to the point that gives a continuous fall to the trap or soil stack; over a long run we lower the floor or raise the tray slightly. Before fitting the tray we test the waste with water.
Send us a photo of the bath and we will arrange a visit to check the waste and walls; you then receive a written quote with tray, screen and labour listed separately. We also convert baths in nearby areas: Gurb, Calldetenes and Santa Eugènia de Berga.

Frequently asked questions
01Bath-to-shower conversion in Vic: which areas do you cover?
We work in Vic in areas such as Centre Històric, Les Adoberies, El Remei, Montseny, La Guixa, Caputxins, Santa Clara and Horta Vermella, and also nearby: Gurb, Calldetenes and Santa Eugènia de Berga.
02Do all the bathroom tiles have to come off?
No. We remove the band of tiles around the bath and the panel at the front; the rest of the room stays if it is in good condition.
03Can the tray sit flush with the floor?
It depends on the height of the waste and the floor slab. On the visit we check whether a flush fit is possible or a low-profile tray on the floor is wiser.
04Which tray suits older people?
One with a very low edge, a non-slip surface and room for a grab rail or fold-down seat fixed to a solid wall.
