Dishwashers in Torroella de Montgrí: space, connections and testing
In second homes in areas such as Torroella de Montgrí, Sobrestany and La Bolleria, the kitchen often had no dishwasher and the owners now want one for the season. We adapt the existing units and bring water and waste in without lifting the worktop wherever possible.
In kitchens in areas such as L'Estartit, Els Griells and Les Dunes we connect the waste to the sink trap through a spigot with a non-return valve and loop the hose up to the height the manufacturer specifies. That stops dirty water from the sink flowing back into the machine.
After the visit you receive a detailed written quote covering the machine, the connections and any unit that needs adapting; when we finish we leave the kitchen tidy. We also install in nearby areas: L'Escala, Pals and Bellcaire d'Empordà.

Frequently asked questions
01Dishwasher installation in Torroella de Montgrí: which areas do you cover?
We do this work in Torroella de Montgrí, in areas such as Torroella de Montgrí, Sobrestany, La Bolleria, L'Estartit, Els Griells, Les Dunes, Mas Pinell and La Torre Gran, and also nearby: L'Escala, Pals and Bellcaire d'Empordà. Before starting we visit the property and prepare a detailed written quote.
02Can the dishwasher go far from the sink?
Yes, but the drain hose only reaches so far. If the space is further away, we extend the waste pipe inside the wall with the right fall.
0345 cm or 60 cm dishwasher?
A 60 cm machine holds more and a 45 cm one suits narrow kitchens. We measure the space and tell you which fits without losing a useful drawer unit.
04Do you fit the door panel on an integrated dishwasher?
Yes. We line the panel up with the neighbouring units and adjust the door springs so it opens and closes smoothly.
