How we install heat pumps in Torroella de Montgrí
In second homes in areas such as Torroella de Montgrí, Sobrestany and La Bolleria, a heat pump can be controlled remotely: you can leave the house on a low setting and warm it up before you arrive. We set up frost protection and the cylinder's anti-legionella cycle.
In homes in areas such as L'Estartit, Els Griells and Les Dunes, the heat pump sits on an anti-vibration base with flexible connectors so noise does not travel into the structure. We leave clear space around it for airflow and servicing.
At the visit we look at the boiler, emitters and insulation and give you a detailed written quote; a site manager coordinates the plumbing and electrical work. We also work in nearby areas: L'Escala, Pals and Bellcaire d'Empordà.

Frequently asked questions
01Air-source heat pump installation in Torroella de Montgrí: which areas do you cover?
We do this work in Torroella de Montgrí, in areas such as Torroella de Montgrí, Sobrestany, La Bolleria, L'Estartit, Els Griells, Les Dunes, Mas Pinell and La Torre Gran, and also nearby: L'Escala, Pals and Bellcaire d'Empordà. 02Will my current radiators work with a heat pump?
It depends on their size and on the insulation. A heat pump runs at a lower temperature than a boiler, so at the visit we check whether the radiators give enough heat or some should be replaced.
03Can a heat pump be installed in a flat?
Yes, if there is a terrace, a large balcony or a roof for the outdoor unit and room for the hot water cylinder. We assess it at the visit.
04What happens to the old boiler?
We disconnect and remove it, and leave the water connections ready for the new system.
