Fan, duct and incoming air
With cold winters, hardly anyone opens the bathroom window after a shower and steam condenses on the outside wall. A fan with an overrun timer removes it without chilling the house, and we insulate the duct where it crosses cold spaces (mostly in Centre, Vallparadís and Antic Poble de Sant Pere).
We wire the fan to the light with an overrun timer or to a humidistat, depending on how the bathroom is used. The supply is protected and kept outside the shower and bath zones, as REBT requires.
