From rusty steel to a sound balcony
In 1960s–80s blocks of flats in areas such as Centre, Vallparadís and Antic Poble de Sant Pere the typical problem is the balcony edge: concrete breaking away and exposing the steel. We cut back to sound material, passivate the reinforcement and rebuild with structural mortar.
We check the railing anchor by anchor: in homes in areas such as Ca n'Anglada, Torre-sana and Montserrat we keep sound ironwork, replace corroded sections and fit new railings at the height set by the CTE, using chemical anchors where the substrate calls for it.
We inspect the balcony up close, assess the damage and access and give you a detailed written quote; a site manager coordinates the job and we remove protection and rubble at the end. We also repair balconies in nearby areas: Sabadell, Rubí and Castellar del Vallès.
