Pocket or exposed track: how we choose
In 1960s to 80s flats in areas such as Centre, Vallparadís and Antic Poble de Sant Pere, the original varnished timber doors on small bathrooms and bedrooms are often swapped for painted sliders. We check the partition, usually hollow brick, and open it only to the width of the leaf.
For bathrooms and bedrooms in areas such as Ca n'Anglada, Torre-sana and Montserrat we fit a privacy lock with outside release, flush pulls and brush seals on the edges. The slider then closes discreetly and cuts more noise from the hallway.
On the visit we measure the opening and the wall, check for pipes or cables and give you a detailed written quote. We leave the opening clean and ready to paint. We also work in nearby areas: Sabadell, Rubí and Castellar del Vallès.
