From pull strap to motor: how we work
In 1960s to 80s flats the original PVC shutter with a pull strap and recessed winder is common. We replace it with foam-filled aluminium, which insulates better in winter, and seal the gaps around the box at the same time (frequent in Centre, Vallparadís and Antic Poble de Sant Pere).
We check the guide rails: if they are bent or pitted we replace them and set them plumb, because a rail out of line makes the slats rub and eventually work loose.
After the visit you receive a detailed written quote, window by window; we fit with floors and sills protected and leave the boxes closed and clean. We also work in nearby areas: Sabadell, Rubí and Castellar del Vallès.
