What we check before hanging a vanity unit
In 1960s to 80s flats in areas such as Centre, Vallparadís and Antic Poble de Sant Pere, the original unit is usually chipboard on legs or a pedestal basin. When replacing it we check the angle valves and waste, which are often worn, and change them before fitting the new unit.
For homes in areas such as Ca n'Anglada, Torre-sana and Montserrat we hang the mirror, cabinet and tall unit in line with the vanity, at a comfortable height for whoever uses them. If they are lit, we connect them to a point that respects the bathroom safety zones set out in the REBT.
