In 1960s to 80s town-centre flats in areas such as Centre, Vallparadís and Antic Poble de Sant Pere, the kitchen worktop often has one or two sockets for every small appliance. We add sockets along the splashback, at the distance from the sink the REBT sets.
If you would rather avoid building work, in flats in areas such as Ca n'Anglada, Torre-sana and Montserrat we use existing conduit with spare room, or run the cable in surface trunking or a skirting channel. In plasterboard walls we fit dry-lining boxes that clamp to the board.
