From hood to duct: how we fit it
In 1960s to 80s blocks, the kitchen often has a shared vertical duct or no direct outlet at all. We check the draught and diameter, and if there is no way outside we fit a recirculating hood with good charcoal filters (very common in Centre, Vallparadís and Antic Poble de Sant Pere).
When an outlet has to be made, we core-drill the wall, fit a sleeve with a fall to the outside and finish with a grille and non-return damper. The hole is sealed inside and out so no rain gets in.
On the visit we look at the hob and the possible outlets and give you a detailed written quote; a site manager coordinates the fitting and we leave the kitchen clean. We also work in nearby areas: Sabadell, Rubí and Castellar del Vallès.
