From rusty steel to a sound balcony
In 1960s–80s blocks of flats in areas such as Les Delícies, Les Nogueres and El Paradís the typical problem is the balcony edge: concrete breaking away and exposing the steel. We cut back to sound material, passivate the reinforcement and rebuild with structural mortar.
In areas such as La Molassa, Vallvallida and La Vinya we also take care of the final look: non-slip outdoor tiles, the edge painted to match the façade and joints sealed with flexible sealant. We check the drain or spout so water does not pond on the balcony.
