What we check on a façade before painting it
In 1960s to 80s blocks in town centres, in areas such as Les Delícies, Les Nogueres and El Paradís, the façade usually has render painted several times over and cracks at the balcony edges. We strip paint that no longer bonds, seal cracks with flexible filler and even out the finish.
In light wells and on party walls in areas such as La Molassa, Vallvallida and La Vinya we work on ropes without scaffolding, covering windows, washing lines and air-conditioning units. Each finished section is checked before we move down to the next.
