Porcelain floor tiling in Teià.
We lay porcelain in Teià indoors and out, with an anti-slip tile on the terrace and a matching shade inside, so the floor runs on without a break.

What we look at before the first tile goes down
Town-centre flats in areas such as Les Delícies, Les Nogueres and El Paradís, mostly from the 1960s to 80s, still have terrazzo or ceramic tiles from the period. Where the base is sound, porcelain can go on top; if it sounds hollow, we lift it and level with self-levelling compound.
To finish floors in areas such as La Molassa, Vallvallida and La Vinya, we leave perimeter joints under the skirting, grout in the colour you choose and clean off cement residue with the right product so no haze is left on the porcelain.
More than 20 years in renovation help us foresee how each base will behave; the written quote breaks down every item. We work in nearby areas too: El Masnou, Alella and Premià de Dalt.

Frequently asked questions
01Porcelain floor tiling in Teià: which areas do you cover?
We work in Teià in areas such as Les Delícies, Les Nogueres, El Paradís, Santa Fe, La Molassa, Vallvallida, La Vinya and Sant Berger, and also nearby: El Masnou, Alella and Premià de Dalt.
02Can porcelain go over the old floor?
Often, yes, if the current floor is solid and flat. Door heights and thresholds with other rooms need checking, and we look at both during the visit.
03What does large-format porcelain need?
A very flat base, double-spread adhesive and levelling clips. Big tiles mean fewer joints, but the setting out and cutting have to be more precise.
04Can the same tile run from the living room to the terrace?
Only if the range has an outdoor non-slip version with the slip rating the CTE requires. Many collections offer both, so the floor can flow outside.
