Tile by tile: how we work
In 1960s–80s flats in areas such as Les Delícies, Les Nogueres and El Paradís the original tiles are often firmly fixed but very dated. If the wall is flat and the tiles sound, we can tile over them with a suitable adhesive; if they sound hollow, we take them all off.
Finishing makes the difference: in bathrooms in areas such as La Molassa, Vallvallida and La Vinya we finish corners with aluminium trim or 45° mitred edges, use mould-resistant grout in the colour you choose and seal around the tray, bath and basin with sanitary silicone.
