Renovating a terrace in Sitges: where to start
In areas such as Centre, Poble Sec and Els Ametllers there are many holiday homes, and a leak can go unnoticed for months until it stains the ceiling below. We check outlets, joints and wall junctions so the terrace is ready for long periods with nobody there.
In areas such as Sant Sebastià, Aiguadolç and Terramar we usually waterproof with bitumen membrane or reinforced liquid membrane, always continuous. We take it at least 20 cm up walls and parapets above the finished floor and protect it under door thresholds, where we find most leaks.
We inspect the terrace and the flat below, give you a detailed written quote, and a site manager follows each stage through to a clean finish. We also renovate terraces in nearby areas: Sant Pere de Ribes, Castelldefels and Gavà.

Frequently asked questions
01Terrace renovation in Sitges: which areas do you cover?
We do this work in Sitges, in areas such as Centre, Poble Sec, Els Ametllers, Can Pei, Sant Sebastià, Aiguadolç, Terramar and Levantina, and also nearby: Sant Pere de Ribes, Castelldefels and Gavà. Before starting we visit the property and prepare a detailed written quote.
02Does the floor have to come up to fix a leak?
Almost always. The leak is usually in the waterproofing or at an outlet, under the tiles. Adding another layer on top without checking the substrate only postpones the problem.
03Which flooring is right for an outdoor terrace?
Non-slip outdoor porcelain that resists frost and temperature changes, laid with flexible adhesive and movement joints.
04Can a terrace be waterproofed without replacing the tiles?
Clear membranes and coatings applied over the tiles work where the falls and outlets are in good order. On the visit we assess whether that is enough or the substrate needs rebuilding.
