Renewing the air in a home in Sitges
By the sea, in areas such as Centre, Poble Sec and Els Ametllers, the air arrives laden with moisture and salt. We choose aluminium or stainless steel outdoor grilles, place the intakes sheltered from the sea wind and fit filters that hold back salt before the air enters the home.
For flats in areas such as Sant Sebastià, Aiguadolç and Terramar we find the heat recovery unit an accessible spot, be it the bathroom ceiling void, the utility gallery or a cupboard, so filters can be changed without dismantling anything. We connect the condensate drain and fit anti-vibration mounts.
We visit the property, measure the rooms and give you a detailed written quote; a site manager coordinates the installation and we leave everything clean. We also install ventilation in nearby areas: Sant Pere de Ribes, Castelldefels and Gavà.

Frequently asked questions
01Mechanical ventilation installation in Sitges: which areas do you cover?
We do this work in Sitges, in areas such as Centre, Poble Sec, Els Ametllers, Can Pei, Sant Sebastià, Aiguadolç, Terramar and Levantina, and also nearby: Sant Pere de Ribes, Castelldefels and Gavà. Before starting we visit the property and prepare a detailed written quote.
02What is the difference between single-flow and balanced systems?
A single-flow system extracts air from the kitchen and bathrooms, and fresh air comes in through trickle vents in the windows. A balanced system supplies and extracts through ducts and, with heat recovery, reuses the warmth of the outgoing air.
03Is mechanical ventilation noisy?
Properly sized, it runs at low speed and is barely audible. We place the unit away from the bedrooms and use suitable ducts and silencers.
04Will I still need to open the windows?
Not to renew the air: the system does that continuously. You can open them whenever you like, but you no longer depend on it.
