What shapes the design of a bespoke piece
With cold winters and long heating seasons, solid timber shrinks and moves. So we use solid wood on visible parts and stable board for carcasses and shelves, and leave expansion gaps (notable in Santa Cristina d'Aro, La Teulera and Salom).
