What we change in a living room before the furniture goes in

In detached and terraced houses in areas such as Centre and Poble Nou the living room often has a fireplace, beams or a double-height ceiling. We adapt the lighting to that height, check wall insulation and, where winters are cold, can prepare the floor for underfloor heating.

When we join the living room and kitchen in areas such as Can Camps, Can Ferragut and Can Mallador we bring the floor levels together so a continuous surface can be laid without trims, and we treat the joint with the old wall so no cracks appear once painted.
