Consumer unit replacement in flats and houses: what we check
Near the sea, in areas such as Montaltnou and Montalt Parc, salty air blackens the terminals and busbars inside the board. We fit well-sealed enclosures, tighten every connection and avoid placing the unit in open galleries or utility areas.
In homes in areas such as Supermaresme, El Rocar and La Ferrera, we add surge protection at the incoming side of the board. It protects appliances, the boiler and computer equipment from voltage spikes from the grid or from a storm.
With over 20 years in electrical installations, we replace the board methodically and leave the hallway clean and tidy. Nearby areas we also cover: Sant Andreu de Llavaneres, Arenys de Mar and Caldes d'Estrac.

03What does a surge protection device do?
It cuts the supply when a voltage spike arrives from the grid or a storm, protecting the fridge, boiler, computer and other connected equipment.
