How we plan a wardrobe interior
In flats near the sea in areas such as Montaltnou and Montalt Parc damp can leave musty smells and mould inside wardrobes on outside walls. We set the carcass off the wall, use moisture-resistant board for the back and suggest doors with vents or ventilation slots.
Where there is no alcove, in homes in areas such as Supermaresme, El Rocar and La Ferrera we build a plasterboard partition on a stud frame to enclose the wardrobe up to the ceiling. We leave a route for the interior lighting and paint it to match the room.
More than 20 years building wardrobes helps us deal with awkward spaces; a site manager coordinates partition, fitting and lighting, and the quote is in writing. We also cover nearby areas: Sant Andreu de Llavaneres, Arenys de Mar and Caldes d'Estrac.

Frequently asked questions
01Fitted wardrobe installation in Sant Vicenç de Montalt: which areas do you cover?
We do this work in Sant Vicenç de Montalt, in areas such as Montaltnou, Montalt Parc, Supermaresme, El Rocar, La Ferrera, La Plana d'en Marent and Can Pi, and also nearby: Sant Andreu de Llavaneres, Arenys de Mar and Caldes d'Estrac. Before starting we visit the property and prepare a detailed written quote.
02Sliding or hinged doors?
Sliding doors need no room to open and suit tighter bedrooms. Hinged doors show the whole interior at once and blend more neatly into the wall.
03Can a fitted wardrobe go where there is no alcove?
Yes. We build the recess with a plasterboard partition or by closing off a corner, then fit the wardrobe inside. We plan it during the visit around the bedroom layout.
04How deep does a fitted wardrobe need to be?
Around 60 cm to hang clothes comfortably. With less depth, pull-out front rails work, or the wardrobe can be given over to shelving.
