What we check before lifting the floor
In 1960s to 80s flats in town centres, in areas such as Església, Ajuntament and Cavallers, we usually install it when the whole floor is being replaced. We remove the old tiles and their bed, level the slab and so recover part of the height the system needs.
Each circuit in houses in areas such as Sant Antoni, Montserrat and Diputació runs from and back to the manifold with no joints under the floor. The flow meters let us balance them so a small bathroom and a large living room reach the same temperature.
A site manager coordinates removing the old floor, the installation and the screed pour, and we leave the base clean for the tiler. We also work nearby: Gelida, Subirats and Torrelavit.
