Shunt, lightwell or outside wall: where the air goes

In detached and terraced houses in areas such as Església, Ajuntament and Cavallers, the duct can exit through the roof or the outside wall, depending on where the bathroom is. Where winters are cold we insulate the section crossing the loft so steam does not condense inside and drip back.

For the electrics in homes in areas such as Sant Antoni, Montserrat and Diputació, we wire the fan to the light with a timer or to its own switch, and place it outside the shower zone or with the protection the REBT requires there.
