What we calculate before replacing a radiator
In 1960s to 80s town-centre flats in areas such as El Poble, Poble-sec and El Turonet, we still find one-pipe systems, where water passes from one radiator to the next. We check this before choosing valves, as a one-pipe circuit needs specific fittings to stop the last radiator running cold.
For homes in areas such as Les Fonts, Mas Duran and Los Rosales, we work out each radiator's output from room size, orientation and window area. That sets the number of sections or the panel size, so small rooms don't get huge radiators and the living room isn't left short.
On the visit we count the radiators, look at the boiler and pipes and give you a detailed written quote, radiator by radiator. We also replace radiators in nearby areas: Sabadell, Terrassa and Sant Cugat del Vallès.

Frequently asked questions
01Radiator replacement in Sant Quirze del Vallès: which areas do you cover?
We work in Sant Quirze del Vallès in areas such as El Poble, Poble-sec, El Turonet, Les Fonts, Mas Duran, Los Rosales, Can Casablanques and Sant Quirze Parc, and also nearby: Sabadell, Terrassa and Sant Cugat del Vallès.
02Can I replace the radiators without changing the boiler?
Yes. If the boiler works well, we only change the radiators and adapt the connections. We do check that the total output matches what the boiler can deliver.
03Which radiators work with a heat pump?
Low-temperature models or larger ones, because a heat pump sends cooler water around the system. At the visit we size each one.
04Does the wall need opening up?
Usually not: we reuse the existing connections. We only open the wall if a radiator moves or the new one has a different distance between tappings.
