Consumer unit replacement in flats and houses: what we check
In houses and terraced homes in areas such as El Poble, Poble-sec and El Turonet, the earthing is often old or does not reach every circuit. We measure its resistance when we change the board and, if the reading is not right, suggest improving it with new earth rods.
In flats and premises in areas such as Les Fonts, Mas Duran and Los Rosales, before removing the old board we identify every cable and note which room it feeds. That way each circuit reaches the new unit with a breaker matched to the cable size.
We visit, open your current board and give you a detailed written quote; a site manager coordinates the change and we agree the time of the power cut with you. We also work in nearby areas: Sabadell, Terrassa and Sant Cugat del Vallès.

03What does a surge protection device do?
It cuts the supply when a voltage spike arrives from the grid or a storm, protecting the fridge, boiler, computer and other connected equipment.
04Will I be without power during the work?
Only while the old unit is disconnected and the new one is connected. We agree the time of the cut with you and leave everything working before we go.
