Frame, waste and boxing-in: how we handle it
In detached and terraced houses in areas such as El Poble, Poble-sec and El Turonet, the ground-floor cloakroom sits on a slab and the soil pipe may be some distance away. We open the floor only as far as the new waste needs and anchor the frame directly to the slab.
In bathrooms in areas such as Les Fonts, Mas Duran and Los Rosales, we fix the frame to the floor slab with anchors suited to the substrate and level it both ways before tightening. The pan hangs on threaded rods that bear on the steel frame, not on the board.
On the visit we look at the partition and the stack and explain what work is involved; then you receive a detailed written quote. We also work in nearby areas: Sabadell, Terrassa and Sant Cugat del Vallès.

Frequently asked questions
01Wall-hung toilet installation in Sant Quirze del Vallès: which areas do you cover?
We work in Sant Quirze del Vallès in areas such as El Poble, Poble-sec, El Turonet, Les Fonts, Mas Duran, Los Rosales, Can Casablanques and Sant Quirze Parc, and also nearby: Sabadell, Terrassa and Sant Cugat del Vallès.
02Can a wall-hung toilet take an adult's weight?
Yes. The load is carried not by the partition but by the steel frame anchored to floor and wall, which is why it must be fixed and levelled carefully.
03What if the concealed cistern goes wrong?
It can be repaired without breaking anything: the mechanism comes out through the flush plate opening. That is why we never tile over that access.
04Is building work needed to replace a floor-standing toilet?
Some, yes: the wall has to be opened or built out to house the frame, the waste adapted and the finish made good.
