Thermostatic, concealed or mixer: what we look at
In detached and terraced houses in areas such as El Poble, Poble-sec and El Turonet, with bathrooms on several floors, pressure and temperature shift when two taps run at once. A thermostatic valve in each shower keeps the water steady even if someone uses the kitchen or the other bathroom.
For a thermostatic shower in homes in areas such as Les Fonts, Mas Duran and Los Rosales, we check that hot water enters on the left and that both supplies have similar pressure. If not, we fit non-return valves and set the temperature stop.
If you already have the tap, we check the model on the visit; if not, we advise you. You then receive a detailed written quote. We also cover nearby areas: Sabadell, Terrassa and Sant Cugat del Vallès.

Frequently asked questions
01Kitchen and bathroom tap installation in Sant Quirze del Vallès: which areas do you cover?
We work in Sant Quirze del Vallès in areas such as El Poble, Poble-sec, El Turonet, Les Fonts, Mas Duran, Los Rosales, Can Casablanques and Sant Quirze Parc, and also nearby: Sabadell, Terrassa and Sant Cugat del Vallès.
02Can I buy the tap myself?
Yes. Before you buy, send us a photo of the sink or basin and the model you like: we check that it fits the tap hole and that your connections will work.
03What is the advantage of a thermostatic tap?
It holds the temperature you set even when someone turns on another tap in the house. In the shower it avoids sudden switches between hot and cold.
04Can concealed taps be fitted without redoing the bathroom?
The wall has to be opened to fit the concealed body, and the tiling in that area made good. We look at it on the visit and explain what it involves.
