What we measure before lowering a ceiling for air
In houses and terraced homes in areas such as El Poble, Poble-sec and El Turonet, with cold winters and hot summers, the equipment has to perform in both modes. We size the heat pump floor by floor and place the return so that no corner stays cold.
In homes in areas such as Les Fonts, Mas Duran and Los Rosales we calculate the airflow for each room and size the ducts so air leaves at low speed. We use glass-wool duct board on straight runs and insulated flexible duct only for the last few metres.
At the visit we measure ceiling heights, see where the unit and outdoor unit will fit and then send you a detailed written quote. We also install ducted air in nearby areas: Sabadell, Terrassa and Sant Cugat del Vallès.

Frequently asked questions
01Ducted air conditioning installation in Sant Quirze del Vallès: which areas do you cover?
We work in Sant Quirze del Vallès in areas such as El Poble, Poble-sec, El Turonet, Les Fonts, Mas Duran, Los Rosales, Can Casablanques and Sant Quirze Parc, and also nearby: Sabadell, Terrassa and Sant Cugat del Vallès.
02Does the whole home need a lowered ceiling?
Not always. A false ceiling in the hallway, bathroom or entrance, where the ducts run, is usually enough; in the rooms we only cut openings for the grilles.
03Is a ducted system noisy?
Properly sized, it is one of the quietest options: the unit sits away from the bedrooms and the air leaves the grilles at low speed.
04Can each room have its own temperature?
Yes, with a zoning system: motorised dampers in the ducts and a thermostat in each room that opens or closes the airflow.
