Kitchen tiling in Sant Quirze del Vallès.
In Sant Quirze del Vallès we tile the walls of new or refitted kitchens, with the cuts for sockets, windows and corners worked out before the first tile goes up.

From old tiles to a clean splashback
In detached and terraced houses in areas such as El Poble, Poble-sec and El Turonet kitchens are larger and sometimes have block or exposed brick walls. We render or level the surface and, on outside walls, check there is no damp before tiling.
In the kitchens we tile in areas such as Les Fonts, Mas Duran and Los Rosales we measure the height between worktop and wall units so the courses fit without a thin strip at the top or bottom. We mark sockets, the extractor outlet and water points beforehand so each tile is cut accurately.
We come to see the kitchen, check the existing tiles and help you choose format and colour; you then receive a detailed written quote, and at the end we leave the worktop and units clean. We also tile kitchens in nearby areas: Sabadell, Terrassa and Sant Cugat del Vallès.

Frequently asked questions
01Kitchen tiling in Sant Quirze del Vallès: which areas do you cover?
We work in Sant Quirze del Vallès in areas such as El Poble, Poble-sec, El Turonet, Les Fonts, Mas Duran, Los Rosales, Can Casablanques and Sant Quirze Parc, and also nearby: Sabadell, Terrassa and Sant Cugat del Vallès.
02Should the old tiles come off, or can you tile over them?
If the existing tiles are firm and flat, we can tile over them with a suitable adhesive. If they sound hollow or there is damp, we remove them so the problem is not carried over.
03Do the units have to come out for tiling?
Not for the splashback: we work with the units in place and protected. For full walls, it is better to tile before the kitchen is fitted.
04Which grout is easiest to keep clean?
Narrow joints with epoxy or high-performance grout repel grease and don't darken. We recommend them especially behind the hob and sink.
