Heat pumps in Sant Pere de Ribes: where each unit goes
In areas such as Ribes, Sota-ribes and Les Parellades, with cold winters and frost, a heat pump has to deliver output when it is below zero outside. We size it for January nights and choose units that keep their performance at low temperatures.
In the systems we install in areas such as Les Roquetes and Vilanoveta, the hot water cylinder is sized to the number of people in the household. We connect it with safety valves, an expansion vessel and a programmed anti-legionella cycle.
At the visit we look at the boiler, emitters and insulation and give you a detailed written quote; a site manager coordinates the plumbing and electrical work. We also work in nearby areas: Sitges, Vilanova i la Geltrú and Olivella.

Frequently asked questions
01Air-source heat pump installation in Sant Pere de Ribes: which areas do you cover?
We do this work in Sant Pere de Ribes, in areas such as Ribes, Sota-ribes, Les Parellades, Les Roquetes, Vilanoveta, Puigmoltó, Can Macià and Les Torres, and also nearby: Sitges, Vilanova i la Geltrú and Olivella. Before starting we visit the property and prepare a detailed written quote.
02Will my current radiators work with a heat pump?
It depends on their size and on the insulation. A heat pump runs at a lower temperature than a boiler, so at the visit we check whether the radiators give enough heat or some should be replaced.
03Can a heat pump be installed in a flat?
Yes, if there is a terrace, a large balcony or a roof for the outdoor unit and room for the hot water cylinder. We assess it at the visit.
04What happens to the old boiler?
We disconnect and remove it, and leave the water connections ready for the new system.
