Pigeons on the façade in Sant Just Desvern: where they settle and how we stop them
In 1960s to 80s blocks in areas such as El Poble, El Raval and La Carretera, pigeons settle on balconies with empty planters, under air-conditioning units and on window sills. We protect each spot with spikes or wires and clear away the droppings that have built up.
For spikes in areas such as La Muntanya, Mas Lluí and Can Modolell, we measure the width of each cornice or ledge and choose strips with one, two or three rows. We bond or screw them according to the material, so there is no gap left where a pigeon could land again.
After the visit you receive a written quote listing each area and the system proposed, ready to present to the residents' association if needed. We also work nearby: Esplugues de Llobregat, Sant Joan Despí and Sant Feliu de Llobregat.

Frequently asked questions
01Pigeon deterrent installation in Sant Just Desvern: which areas do you cover?
We do this work in Sant Just Desvern, in areas such as El Poble, El Raval, La Carretera, La Muntanya, Mas Lluí and Can Modolell, and also nearby: Esplugues de Llobregat, Sant Joan Despí and Sant Feliu de Llobregat. Before starting we visit the property and prepare a detailed written quote.
02Do these systems hurt the pigeons?
No. Spikes, netting and wires are deterrents: they stop birds landing or nesting but do not injure them. The pigeons simply move elsewhere.
03What happens to existing nests?
We remove them before fitting, along with the droppings, and disinfect the area. If there are chicks, we assess it during the visit to choose the right moment.
04Can they be seen from the street?
Barely. We use steel spikes, neutral-coloured netting and fine wires, placed along the lines of the façade so they go unnoticed.
