Wall-hung toilets in Sant Just Desvern: what lies behind the wall
In 1960s to 80s town-centre flats in areas such as El Poble, El Raval and La Carretera, a floor-standing toilet usually has a vertical outlet into the floor. To switch to wall-hung, we run the waste to the wall with a new PVC section and connect it to the frame's bend.
In homes in areas such as La Muntanya, Mas Lluí and Can Modolell, we connect the waste with a PVC bend of the size the pan needs and check the fall to the stack. Before closing up we run a water test and leave the supply with its stop valve inside the frame.

Frequently asked questions
01Wall-hung toilet installation in Sant Just Desvern: which areas do you cover?
We do this work in Sant Just Desvern, in areas such as El Poble, El Raval, La Carretera, La Muntanya, Mas Lluí and Can Modolell, and also nearby: Esplugues de Llobregat, Sant Joan Despí and Sant Feliu de Llobregat. Before starting we visit the property and prepare a detailed written quote.
02Can a wall-hung toilet take an adult's weight?
Yes. The load is carried not by the partition but by the steel frame anchored to floor and wall, which is why it must be fixed and levelled carefully.
03What if the concealed cistern goes wrong?
It can be repaired without breaking anything: the mechanism comes out through the flush plate opening. That is why we never tile over that access.
04Is building work needed to replace a floor-standing toilet?
Some, yes: the wall has to be opened or built out to house the frame, the waste adapted and the finish made good.
