Plasterboard partitions in Sant Feliu de Llobregat: what we usually find
In areas such as Centre and Can Nadal blocks of flats sit alongside detached and terraced houses on the outskirts. In houses we often divide lofts and ground floors; where winters are cold, the partition or wall lining gets thicker mineral wool to keep the heat in.
When the partition encloses a bedroom, as clients often ask in areas such as Roses-Castellbell, Mas Lluí and Can Calders, we use two layers of board each side and high-density mineral wool. For sliding doors the pocket frame is fixed in place before boarding.
With more than 20 years in renovation, we visit, measure and prepare a written quote broken down item by item. Other areas we cover nearby: Sant Joan Despí, Molins de Rei and Sant Vicenç dels Horts.

Frequently asked questions
01Plasterboard partition walls in Sant Feliu de Llobregat: which areas do you cover?
We work in Sant Feliu de Llobregat in areas such as Centre, Can Nadal, Roses-Castellbell, Mas Lluí, Can Calders, La Salut, Les Grases and Falguera, and also nearby: Sant Joan Despí, Molins de Rei and Sant Vicenç dels Horts.
02Does a plasterboard partition block noise?
Yes, if it is designed for it: mineral wool inside, double boards on each side and acoustic strips where it meets the floor and ceiling. We specify it according to the noise you want to keep out.
03Can I hang units or a TV on plasterboard?
Yes. We fit timber noggins or extra studs inside the wall where heavy units will go, and use plasterboard fixings for everything else.
04Is plasterboard suitable for a bathroom or kitchen?
Yes, with moisture-resistant board (the green one) in wet areas and, in the shower, waterproofing under the tiles.
