Storage room renovation in Sant Cugat del Vallès: where we start
Cold winters cause condensation on the storage room's outside walls, damaging whatever leans against them. We insulate the inner face where it makes sense, ventilate and fit shelving raised off the floor (especially in Centre, Monestir and Eixample Sud).
On the floor we lay tiles or an epoxy paint that does not shed dust and is easy to mop. We adjust the door or replace it with a metal or timber one with a security lock and a threshold that keeps water out.
On the visit we measure the room and find where the damp comes from; you then get a detailed written quote and a site manager organises the work. We also fit out storage rooms in nearby areas: Barcelona, Rubí and Cerdanyola del Vallès.

Frequently asked questions
01Storage room renovation in Sant Cugat del Vallès: which areas do you cover?
We work in Sant Cugat del Vallès in areas such as Centre, Monestir, Eixample Sud, Parc Central, Golf, Coll Favà, Torre Blanca and Can Trabal, and also nearby: Barcelona, Rubí and Cerdanyola del Vallès.
02How do you get rid of the damp smell in a storage room?
By finding the source: a leak, condensation or poor ventilation. We repair the affected wall, apply a breathable finish and add ventilation so the air circulates.
03Can a storage room be turned into a bedroom?
It depends on the ceiling height, daylight, ventilation and what local planning rules allow. On the visit we review it against the CTE and tell you clearly what is feasible.
04Which shelving takes the most weight?
Metal shelving fixed to the wall, or built-in masonry shelves. We choose fixings for the type of wall and space the shelves to suit what you store.
