Renovating a living room in Sant Celoni: where we start

In areas such as Barri de la Força and Barri Vilanova most flats date from the 1960s to the 80s, with a long living-dining room, terrazzo floors and a single ceiling light. We often level or cover the terrazzo, open the room to the kitchen and add separate lighting circuits.

In areas such as Pertegàs, Les Borrelles and Can Sans we plan living room lighting in scenes: a recessed LED strip around the ceiling, adjustable spotlights over the table and sockets for floor lamps, each group on its own circuit under the REBT.

While the work is under way we close off the living room with sheeting so dust does not reach the rest of the home, and hand it over clean, ready for the furniture. We renovate living rooms nearby too: Santa Maria de Palautordera, Gualba and Vallgorguina.
