Underfloor heating in Sant Andreu de la Barca: height, structure and equipment
In areas such as Nucli Antic and El Centre, where winters are cold, underfloor heating spreads warmth evenly without radiators. In houses and terraced homes we split it by floor, with a manifold on each, ready for a heat pump or condensing boiler.
Each circuit in houses in areas such as La Plana, Pla de l'Estació and La Solana runs from and back to the manifold with no joints under the floor. The flow meters let us balance them so a small bathroom and a large living room reach the same temperature.
A site manager coordinates removing the old floor, the installation and the screed pour, and we leave the base clean for the tiler. We also work nearby: Martorell, Castellbisbal and Corbera de Llobregat.

Frequently asked questions
01Underfloor heating installation in Sant Andreu de la Barca: which areas do you cover?
We do this work in Sant Andreu de la Barca, in areas such as Nucli Antic, El Centre, La Plana, Pla de l'Estació, La Solana, El Palau and La Colònia, and also nearby: Martorell, Castellbisbal and Corbera de Llobregat. Before starting we visit the property and prepare a detailed written quote.
02What floor height does it take up?
A standard system adds around 8–10 cm for insulation, pipe and screed, plus the floor finish. Where height is tight, low-profile systems take up much less.
03Which floor finishes can go on top?
Ceramic and porcelain tiles transfer heat most readily. Engineered wood or vinyl rated for underfloor heating also work, at the thickness the manufacturer specifies.
04What heats the water?
A heat pump, the most efficient match because both work at low temperature, or a condensing boiler. If the unit allows it, the floor can also provide gentle cooling in summer.
