Shower screens in Sant Andreu de la Barca: what we measure first
In 1960s to 80s flats in areas such as Nucli Antic and El Centre it is common to swap a bath for a tray and end up with no enclosure: the opening has its own size and the walls are out of square. We order the screen made to measure and take up the lean with the wall profile.
In areas such as La Plana, Pla de l'Estació and La Solana we often find old, blackened silicone around the tray. We remove it completely, clean with solvent and run new sanitary silicone along the outside of the profile, leaving the inner drainage clear.
With more than 20 years fitting screens, we send a written quote once we have seen the space and leave the bathroom tidy when we finish. We also cover nearby areas: Martorell, Castellbisbal and Corbera de Llobregat.

Frequently asked questions
01Shower screen installation in Sant Andreu de la Barca: which areas do you cover?
We do this work in Sant Andreu de la Barca, in areas such as Nucli Antic, El Centre, La Plana, Pla de l'Estació, La Solana, El Palau and La Colònia, and also nearby: Martorell, Castellbisbal and Corbera de Llobregat. Before starting we visit the property and prepare a detailed written quote.
02Sliding, hinged or fixed: which should I choose?
Sliding saves space in narrow bathrooms; hinged needs room to open outwards; a fixed panel suits roomy showers with no door at all.
03Can it be fitted without breaking the tiles?
Yes. We drill through the tile with a diamond bit and seal every fixing, so the tiling and the waterproofing stay intact.
04How do I keep the glass clean?
A quick wipe with a squeegee after each shower is enough. An anti-limescale coating and slim profiles cut down on marks.
