Heat pumps in flats and houses: what we assess locally
In houses with gardens on residential estates in areas such as Sant Adrià Nord and Sant Joan Baptista, there is plenty of outdoor space for the heat pump. We place it away from bedrooms and neighbouring houses and look at whether to use it for summer cooling too.
Where there is underfloor heating, as in many houses in areas such as La Mina, El Besòs and La Catalana, we set the heating curve so the water leaves at just the right temperature. We balance the manifold circuits so every room heats evenly.
Over 20 years' experience in installations: we remove the old boiler, fit the new system and leave the house clean. We also install heat pumps nearby: Barcelona, Badalona and Santa Coloma de Gramenet.

Frequently asked questions
01Air-source heat pump installation in Sant Adrià de Besòs: which areas do you cover?
We work in Sant Adrià de Besòs in areas such as Sant Adrià Nord, Sant Joan Baptista, La Mina, El Besòs, La Catalana and La Verneda, and also nearby: Barcelona, Badalona and Santa Coloma de Gramenet.
02Will my current radiators work with a heat pump?
It depends on their size and on the insulation. A heat pump runs at a lower temperature than a boiler, so at the visit we check whether the radiators give enough heat or some should be replaced.
03Can a heat pump be installed in a flat?
Yes, if there is a terrace, a large balcony or a roof for the outdoor unit and room for the hot water cylinder. We assess it at the visit.
04What happens to the old boiler?
We disconnect and remove it, and leave the water connections ready for the new system.
