From loft to room: how we go about it
In village houses in areas such as Centre, Barri Vell and El Veïnat it is common to find old timber beams, some with woodworm or damp bearings in the walls. We check them one by one, treat sound timber and strengthen or replace only the pieces that need it.
Daylight transforms an attic: in homes in areas such as La Massana, Barri dels Escriptors and Mas Masó we fit roof windows in the slope with proper flashing kits, placed so you can open them and look out standing up. Where needed we add an external blind or awning.
