In detached and terraced houses bathrooms tend to be larger and suit large-format tiles, even floor to ceiling. Over underfloor heating we use deformable adhesive and keep perimeter joints so tiles move with the heat (mostly in Centre, Barri Vell and El Veïnat).
In the shower area we waterproof with a liquid membrane or sheet, with tape at the corners and around taps and drain. Niches are lined with the same tiles and given a slight fall so they do not hold water.
We have been tiling bathrooms for over 20 years: we measure up, send you a written quote and, once the last tile is grouted, give the tiles a thorough clean. We also work in neighbouring areas: Girona, Sant Gregori and Vilablareix.
