Painting a façade in Sabadell: access, substrate and colour
On houses and terraced homes the plinth draws damp from the ground and paint blisters low down. We treat it separately with breathable mortar and paint, then the rest of the façade, eaves and grilles (often found in Centre, La Creu Alta and Gràcia).
On façades we hand-finish mouldings, cornices, eaves and balcony edges, and sand and coat railings and grilles with anti-rust enamel. Large sections are rollered in two cross coats.
