How we replace consumer units in Rubí
In 1960s to 1980s flats in areas such as Centre and Mercat, many boards have been extended over the years with parts from different makers and no spare space. We replace them with an enclosure that has spare ways for future air conditioning, induction or car charging circuits.
In flats and premises in areas such as Ca n'Alzamora, 25 de Setembre and Can Vallhonrat, before removing the old board we identify every cable and note which room it feeds. That way each circuit reaches the new unit with a breaker matched to the cable size.
After the visit you receive a written quote detailing each protective device, and a site manager handles the job through to the final tests. We also replace consumer units nearby: Terrassa, Sant Cugat del Vallès and Castellbisbal.

Frequently asked questions
01Consumer unit replacement in Rubí: which areas do you cover?
We do this work in Rubí, in areas such as Centre, Mercat, Ca n'Alzamora, 25 de Setembre, Can Vallhonrat, El Pinar, Can Rosés and Les Torres, and also nearby: Terrassa, Sant Cugat del Vallès and Castellbisbal. Before starting we visit the property and prepare a detailed written quote.
02Can the consumer unit be replaced without rewiring?
Yes, if the wiring is in good condition. We test its insulation first; if any circuit fails, we point it out in the quote so you can decide what to do with it.
03What does a surge protection device do?
It cuts the supply when a voltage spike arrives from the grid or a storm, protecting the fridge, boiler, computer and other connected equipment.
04Will I be without power during the work?
Only while the old unit is disconnected and the new one is connected. We agree the time of the cut with you and leave everything working before we go.
