What a small kitchen renovation includes
-
A layout that uses the space
Single-wall, L-shaped or galley, chosen to suit the space available.
-
Units up to the ceiling
Taller wall units for more storage without taking up floor space.
-
Useful corners
Pull-out corner units, deep drawers and plinth drawers.
-
Compact appliances
Two- or three-zone hob, oven in a tall unit and a 45 cm dishwasher.
-
Light and pale finishes
LED strip under the wall units and pale finishes that make the room feel bigger.
-
Sliding door
If a hinged door gets in the way, we replace it with a sliding or pocket door.
Making the most of a narrow kitchen in Rubí
Many flats from the 60s to the 80s have a narrow kitchen and a hinged door that hits the units. We swap it for a sliding door, move to an L-shaped layout and gain a continuous run of worktop (especially in Centre and Mercat).
We take the wall units right up to the ceiling and turn the plinth into a drawer. That adds storage without taking a centimetre of floor.
After the visit you receive a written quote, and the site manager sequences the work so that in such a tight space no trade gets in the next one's way. We also work nearby: Terrassa, Sant Cugat del Vallès and Castellbisbal.

Frequently asked questions
01Small kitchen renovation in Rubí: which areas do you cover?
We do this work in Rubí, in areas such as Centre, Mercat, Ca n'Alzamora, 25 de Setembre, Can Vallhonrat, El Pinar, Can Rosés and Les Torres, and also nearby: Terrassa, Sant Cugat del Vallès and Castellbisbal. Before starting we visit the property and prepare a detailed written quote.
02Will a dishwasher fit in a narrow kitchen?
Usually, yes, in the 45 cm wide version. We look for a space next to the sink so it can share the water supply and waste.
03How can I gain storage without making the kitchen feel tighter?
By taking wall units up to the ceiling, using the plinth as a drawer and fitting pull-out hardware in the corners. The footprint stays the same and far more fits in.
