Suspended ceilings in Roses: the ceilings we come across
On estates and in areas such as Centre, L'Eixample and Quatre Camins many houses have sloping ceilings under the roof or exposed joists. An insulated suspended ceiling keeps rooms more comfortable in summer and allows downlights where there used to be a single ceiling point.
For indirect light coves, a frequent request for living rooms in areas such as Santa Margarida and Salatar, we conceal the LED strip and keep the driver accessible. Where there is a curtain recess, the frame is reinforced so the track does not pull on the ceiling.
During the visit we measure the clear height, see what needs hiding and give you a detailed written quote. We also fit suspended ceilings in nearby areas: Castelló d'Empúries, Palau-saverdera and Cadaqués.

Frequently asked questions
01Suspended ceiling installation in Roses: which areas do you cover?
We work in Roses in areas such as Centre, L'Eixample, Quatre Camins, La Ciutadella, Santa Margarida, Salatar, Mas Oliva and La Garriga, and also nearby: Castelló d'Empúries, Palau-saverdera and Cadaqués.
02Will a suspended ceiling make the room feel lower?
It depends on what needs hiding. It takes some height: a flat ceiling with recessed spotlights usually needs 8–10 cm; air-conditioning ducts need a deeper void. We measure it during the visit.
03Can a suspended ceiling go in a bathroom?
Yes, using moisture-resistant board and a hatch if there is an extractor fan or valves above. The ceiling copes with humidity and stays accessible.
04What is the difference between a plasterboard and a grid ceiling?
Plasterboard gives a seamless finish and is the usual choice in homes. A grid ceiling has removable tiles on a visible frame and suits premises with lots of services above.
