How we install heat pumps in Ripollet
In areas such as Centre and Quatre Cantons, with cold winters and frost, a heat pump has to deliver output when it is below zero outside. We size it for January nights and choose units that keep their performance at low temperatures.
Where there is underfloor heating, as in many houses in areas such as Can Tiana and Pont Vell, we set the heating curve so the water leaves at just the right temperature. We balance the manifold circuits so every room heats evenly.
Over 20 years' experience in installations: we remove the old boiler, fit the new system and leave the house clean. We also install heat pumps nearby: Cerdanyola del Vallès, Montcada i Reixac and Barberà del Vallès.

Frequently asked questions
01Air-source heat pump installation in Ripollet: which areas do you cover?
We do this work in Ripollet, in areas such as Centre, Quatre Cantons, Can Tiana, Pont Vell, Can Mas, Maragall and Pinetons, and also nearby: Cerdanyola del Vallès, Montcada i Reixac and Barberà del Vallès. Before starting we visit the property and prepare a detailed written quote.
02Will my current radiators work with a heat pump?
It depends on their size and on the insulation. A heat pump runs at a lower temperature than a boiler, so at the visit we check whether the radiators give enough heat or some should be replaced.
03Can a heat pump be installed in a flat?
Yes, if there is a terrace, a large balcony or a roof for the outdoor unit and room for the hot water cylinder. We assess it at the visit.
04What happens to the old boiler?
We disconnect and remove it, and leave the water connections ready for the new system.
