How we repair your woodwork
At the visit we look at every piece: damp, woodworm, joints, hardware and finish. We explain what can be saved and set it out in a written quote.
We work on site and in stages: splicing and treating the timber first, then adjusting sashes and hardware, and finally sanding and finishing, with floors and walls protected.
When we finish, we open and close every door and window, check the locks and leave the area clean, with no sawdust or sanding dust left behind.

Frequently asked questions
01Is it worth repairing an old timber window rather than replacing it?
Often it is: if most of the frame is sound, a splice, careful adjustment and a fresh finish bring back a tight closure and the original look. If the wood is rotten in several places, we tell you at the visit and consider replacement.
02Can wood with woodworm be repaired?
Yes, if the damage is localised. We treat the tunnels, consolidate or replace the affected part and apply a finish that protects the piece. When woodworm has weakened the structure, we recommend replacing that element.
03Can you match the colour of the other doors?
Yes, we adjust the stain or paint with test patches on the wood itself until it comes close to the tone of the other pieces.
04How much does a complete renovation cost?
There is no single price. The estimate depends on the condition and size of the home, the scope of the project, materials and work required. Tell us your idea so we can assess your specific case.
05How long does a renovation take?
It depends on the type of home, the scope of the work and the project's constraints. Once we have studied the renovation, we can give you a more accurate estimate.
06Can a home be renovated while people still live in it?
It depends on the scope, estimated duration and condition of the home. When we study the project, we will assess whether it is feasible and what precautions or alternatives should be considered.
07How can I request an estimate?
Choose what you want to renovate, tell us whether the work is partial or complete, and leave your name, phone number and email. This lets us provide initial guidance. You can also write to us directly on WhatsApp.
